"Displeasure cruise"

Films: Chupacabra: Dark Seas (2005)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: It never fails. Some guys successfully manage to capture a cryptid, and it breaks out to kill everyone. And worse, in this particular scenario, there's precious little space to run or hide...

History: On the Regent Queen cruise ship, some rather coveted cargo lies within. A crazy cryptozoologist has captured the legendary El Chupacabra, and is planning to bring it aboard for further study. Unfortunately, a couple of idiots broke the beast out of its confines, and now the ship has become its own little meat buffet, with everyone including armed troops finding it rather hard to take it down.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Alas, the logical decision is reached, and the ship is blown up and sunk. The beast goes down with the sinking ship, and the legend is over.

Powers/Abilities: The Chupacabra can climb on walls and has a rather resilient hide, capable of tanking a lot of damage.

Weakness: Heavy artillery, as well as drowning.

Scariness Factor: 4-Quite impressive for a Syfy monster to get this far. The Chupacabra looks almost real most of the time, and is one messy eater. Seeing this pig-like humanoid savage coming at you will more than likely be the last sight you ever take in.

Trivia: -The Chupacabra is a monster oftentimes sighted in Central America. It gets its name from how it is often blamed for corpses of livestock drained of blood, hence the title "Goat Sucker". It is often described as a rather small predator with a very alien appearance.

-Originally, the Chupacabra in this film was going to have wings and glowing red eyes, but wings probably wouldn't be very useful in a cramped cruise ship, and the filmmakers wanted the beast to be a plausible creature.

Legend? So, is that really Ganon?

Chupa-Man! Chupa-Man! Get out of here while you still can!

"Like your back. Time to die."
This is why you should see the film before making an ugly Chupacabra water elemental.

When we said that the Chupacabra was going to star in 'Poseidon', this is NOT what we meant!
